Our Family (mis)Adventures : April 2006

We spent a week in Poipu, Kauai with Grandma and Grandpa Steiner in April. Jake loved the beach and we had a great time.

Too Funny:

Dad: "What type of dog was it?"

Jake: "A dogson."

Dad: "A dogson? Do you mean daschund?"

Jake: "Yeah, whatever."

Payton: "I really need to flat iron this hot mess of my hair!" (02/21/13)

Payton: "My knee really hurts. That's why I have to tip toad." (06/19/12)

Payton, exasperated: "Dad, I've told you a million years times!"

Payton in response to being asked to eat her dinner: "I just can't deal with this!"

Jake, when asked why he didn't have a shirt on: "Because I'm a rock star!"

Payton to Jake: "Jake, would you like some help? I'm available!"

Jake, when asked by Mom why he's always so grumpy these days: "Not always. Just most of the time."

Jake to Payton: "You know, if you eat yourself, that's cannibalism."

Payton: "This tastes like tea!"

Jake: "How can you confirm that? You've never had tea!"

Payton: "I love my hot cocoa, I love my hot cocoa...."

Jake: "It's cold now."

Payton: "I love my cold cocoa, I love my cold cocoa!"

Payton: "Look Mom! I jumped 1 cup and 1/4 inches!"
