The Boys
"So here's what we're gonna do....."
"Ride as fast as you can and jump off the curb..........."
"Oh, are you okay? Good thing you have your helmet on!"
"I guess maybe we should just keep going."
Jake and Mom can dance!
We figured that if Payton had a dance video then Jake needed one too.

Lucky Girl
I really like this picture of Jason. He was taking site pictures downtown, but really I just think he looks so handsome! We were talking recently about how we've known each other 20 of our 29 years. That's pretty incredible if you ask me. I'm lucky to be married to my best friend!

Super Jake!
Jake is going to be a Superhero and a cop when he grows up. Just ask him. He's got it all figured out:
Mom: "How will you do both jobs everyday?"
Jake: "I'll be a cop during the day and a Superhero at night."
Mom: "Well, when will you sleep?"
Jake: "Mom, Superheroes don't need sleep!"

Hopefully he gets a better outfit when he's an official Superhero!

Already?
Payton is already 4 months old! She's very mellow and likes to sit back and watch what's going on. She thinks Jake is hilarious and her giggles make us smile every time. That never gets old! She loves to blow bubbles and raspberries and thinks bathtime is the greatest. She also loves to be read to and play outside. A side note: I have to take her in for her 4 month appointment on Monday. I'm dreading it. When they give her her shots, she cries so hard. Then she looks at me with a "why did you let them do that?" expression on her face. It's the worst, absolutely the worst.

Politically Correct
We've been having fun following the Presidential campaign and election. Jake has really gotten into it right along with us. We had a pizza party on election night and again for the Inauguration. When we went to the Caucus last spring, our pricinct was discussing each candidate. When a Clinton supporter mentioned that she thought the group should stop discussing Obama's characteristics and talk more about where he stood on the issues, Jake turned to us and said, loudly, "That lady just said Obama has issues!" He was seriously offended!

Slobber
Lovin' that baby slobber! Between Payton's new fascination with her tongue and her love of blowing bubbles we have more than enough to go around.
