Such a Fun Mess!

We decorated a gingerbread house tonight.  It was so much fun!  By the time it was done we were all covered in frosting and I’m guessing the kids might have a stomachache since I’m pretty sure it was a “one for the gingerbread house, two for me” type of a deal.

Arizona

I had a conference for work in Phoenix last week.  Jason was on his way home from a conference in DC, so he stopped over for a few days while Grandma and Grandpa stayed home with the kids.  It was beautiful weather and so nice to have a few days to spend with just Jason and I.  Plus the kids had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa so it made it that much easier to be away. 

Fenced In

A few weekends ago, Jake decided that we definitely need a fence around the garden to keep the dogs out.  He thought it was best to get a really big head start on next year’s growing season and get it built immediately.  So we braved the rain and cold and headed out to build the fence.  It was lots of fun.  And the fence has withstood the recent snow and wind, so it just might last until next spring!
