Snow Date

Snow in the Pacific Northwest means only one thing to us…snow days!!!! We got a decent amount of snow in January, which means we also got a decent amount of time off work and school. I know most people around here dread the snow, but we secretly (or not so secretly in Jake’s case) hope for at least a few snow days each winter.

Surgery Day

Payton had a minor surgical procedure just after New Year’s. She was an unbelievable champ; Jason and I were a mess.

New Year’s

Grandpa Joe and Grandma Vicki headed out to celebrate a late Christmas along with New Year’s Eve. We opened presents (which, by the way, never gets old) ate and stayed up late to watch the ball drop in Times Square. New Year’s Day was unusually warm. The sun even made an appearance, so we spent the morning at Battle Point Park. Good things must be in store for 2012 with such a great start to the year!
